pre-Vacation Garden Update
Just mowed the lawn and spread the grass clippings around to help keep water down, and control weed growth. Because of all the rain, I haven't had much time to weed, so I'm a little worried that this will be a nightmare when I get back. I also need to keep the grass from moving in on the edges of the garden, which will be a big project when I return.
Mmmm, bok choy…
And my pride and joy, the peas, which are looking much better this year and will probably be vining up the trellis in a week:
Such is the joy of completely hybridized super sugar etc etc snap peas.
Tomatoes should arrive sometime soon (probably while we're away), and then the second stage of planting will commence.
